Paolo got his diploma at the Collegio De Filippi Hotel School. After this they both began and carried their training in Italy and abroad, working in restaurants marked with 1 or 2 Michelin Stars or in 5 stars de Luxe hotels.
In March 2000 they decided to open their own restaurant, named "Al Caminetto", placed in the centre of Cameri, a small town near Novara. Soon they got great satisfaction from their affectionate customers and many professional remarks, including some honourable mentions on important gastronomical guide-book, such as Michelin, Gambero Rosso, Veronelli, Italian Cookery Academic, Paolo Massobrio's Guida Critica e Golosa and others.
In 2001 Alida got her diploma as a Professional Sommeliers.
